Brown Faces to the Sun, a collaborative project sponsored by the Filipina Women’s Network and Silayan Filipina, is a leadership academy for Filipinx American youth in San Diego that fosters self-discovery and cultural identity through their lived experience.

2025 Concert Series

Brown Faces to the Sun is holding our first collaborative concert event in 2025. We hope you can join us on March 9th at 4PM to celebrate International Women’s Day at Market on 8th.

The event will be raising donations for persons experiencing houselessness alongside local organizations such as Hope 4 Homeless and Border Angels. Feel free to invite family and friends, while supporting local FilAm artists such as Katriz Trinidad, Chelly Jane, and Jolene Cruz.
